The most visited National Park in Croatia is Plitvice Lakes. Situated in a thick forest, this natural paradise is considered one of the most beautiful natural phenomena in the world. 16 lakes, connected by 92 waterfalls, cascade through its picturesque surrounding. Plitvice Lakes were declared a National Park in 1949, and since 1979, they have been on the UNESCO's List of World Natural Heritage. You will explore its beauties in an unconventional way as well – by taking a ride on the electric boat and a scenic train. The park's attractions also include several caves and a great variety of flora and fauna. A guided tour of the park lasts for about two and a half hours, including both a boat ride and a walking tour.

Full day tour to Trakošćan Castle & Krapina Neanderthal Museum
Trakošćan castle is one of the most attractive in Croatia. It was erected as a small borough within the system of the forts of the Zagorje Principality; however, during the period of its construction it was not walled. The castle possesses the elements of the simple Romantic style from the 12-13th centuries. Of the numerous feudal lords of this estate, Celjski, Jan Vitovec and Korvini stand out, while following the fall of the Zagorje Principality, the Gyulayi family take over ownership and in 1568, the Draškovics come to own the estate.
After visiting the castle, some free time for coffee and we proceed to the small town of Krapina. The most important paleonthological site in Croatia can be found there - the site of the Krapina Neanderthal man. Next to the discovery site is the new Krapina Neaderthal Museum, opened in 2010, which you will visit accompanied by a museum guide. According to many, it is the most attractive Croatian museum, depicting the evolution of man, from prehistoric times to today. In the park on the hill near museum is a collection of statues of the Neanderthal man and of animals by which he was surrounded. The importance of this site was depicted on the cover of the "National Geographic" magazine in January 1996.
