The Stress and Anxiety Research Society (STAR) is a multidisciplinary, international organization of researchers who share an interest in problems of stress, coping, and anxiety. Its members, from more than 35 countries, meet annually to exchange research findings and clinical applications on a wide range of stress and anxiety related phenomena. STAR conferences provide a unique opportunity to learn, not just about stress and anxiety, but also how psychology is studied and practiced throughout the world. STAR has been exceedingly active in providing an opportunity to share research and clinical findings in an international forum.
University of Zagreb is the oldest university in Croatia, and among the oldest universities in south-eastern Europe. Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is the bigest Facluty at the University and offers more than 100 study programs. From 2005/2006 Faculty offers new programs (total 75 programs) in accordance with the Bologna process (42 BA and 33 MA programs).
At the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences students are provided with opportunities to explore various fields of Humanities such as history, archaeology, philosophy, ethnology, anthropology, history of art, languages literatures and linguistics, as well as social sciences such as psychology, sociology, information sciences and pedagogy.

The Center for Clinical Psychology is an organization engaged in the monitoring, promotion and research of mental health and providing psychological counseling and treatment. The Center for Clinical Psychology promotes a cognitive behavioral approach in the treatment of psychological disorders.
