Course description
Elements of typical measuring devices. Converters. Electrocardiography (ECG). Electroencephalography (EEG). Evoked potentials. Oculography. Electrodermal reaction (EDR). Reography (plethysmography). Respiration. Measuring blood pressure, invasive and noninvasive methods. Measuring tremor. Measuring blood flow. Measuring temperature. Computer tomography. Nuclear magnetic resonance.
Course objectives
Learning about methods of measuring physiological activities in the organism and possibilities and limitations of particular measuring methods.
