Public transportation and parking:
Public transportation in Zagreb includes numerous tram and bus lines that run during daytime and several tram and bus lines at night time. For using public transportation one must purchase a ticket (single ride or a whole day ticket) that can be bought in offices of ZET (Zagrebački Električni Tramvaj – public transportation company in Zagreb) and in the Tisak news-stands. Tickets can be also paid by cell phone – sending an SMS with content ZG on the number 8585 while entering a tram or a bus.
Parking in Zagreb is possible in public garages and on the marked park places all over the city. While parking, please pay attention to the parking zone you are in – they are divided in four categories that differ in price and time limitation.

Transport from airport Pleso:
Since Zagreb airport (Pleso) is located approximately 17 kilometres (11 miles) from the city centre, apart from the taxi service, one can use services of Croatia Airlines bus service. Price of one-way ticket is 30 kn (4.5 €).

How to reach Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences?
Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is located in the wider city centre (address is: Ivana Lučića 3) and you can walk to it from the central city square (Ban Jelačić Square) in approximately 25 minutes. You can also reach it by tram line number 13 going to direction Savišće in which case you must exit on tram station Sveučilišna aleja in Avenija Vukovar street. If you turn south from tram station and walk approximately 8 minutes you will see the Faculty building on the left side, behind a large parking site. The easiest way of reaching Faculty from the train station (Glavni kolodvor) is by foot and duration of this walk is approximately 10 minutes. If you are arriving from hotel International, you can walk to the Faculty in 5 minutes.

If you enjoy walking and socializing in the outdoors, you may be interested in Nature Park Medvednica that can be reached in only 20 minutes by car from the city centre. It offers possibility of active or passive relaxation – you can walk through untouched nature and taste different traditional food dishes in one of the mountain logs or you can relax in some of the wellness treatments in the Hotel Tomislav. If you stay on the top of the mountain Medvednica till the sunset, you will have the opportunity to see the most beautiful night view of Zagreb.
