Forms of participation

Conference program includes presentations of fundamental and applied research topics from all fields of psychology in the following forms:

- symposia (at least 4 papers of different authors related to a common topic or a series of studies, convened by a symposium organizer)

- oral presentations (presentation on a single study or topic)

- poster presentations (presentations that enable direct and intensive interaction between authors and the participants)

-round table discussions about a pertinent professional or research topic.

Guidelines for abstract preparation and review process

Abstracts should be written in Croatian or English. Should an abstract substantially differ from standards of the chosen language, it will not be considered for reviewing process. Abstracts should be between 1800 and 2000 characters, not including abstract title, author(s) and author(s) affiliation. Authors should indicate the type of presentation they propose (symposia, oral presentation, poster or round table discussion). Abstracts should include a clearly presented study goal or/and problem, methodology and main findings with notes on their interpretation. Since the number of presentation slots is limited, in order to allow more authors to present their work, one person may be the first author on only one paper and additionally up to two times as one of the co-authors.

The Program Committee will review the submitted abstracts. The decision regarding acceptance will be sent to the corresponding author by 15th February 2015. Accepted abstracts will be published in the Book of Abstracts before the opening of the conference. Only abstracts of authors who have paid the registration fee by 15th March 2015 will be scheduled for presentation and included in the Book of Abstracts.

Oral presentations are limited to 15 minutes and will be followed by a short discussion. Symposia must include 4 papers.

The presentation language is either Croatian or English.

Dimensions of posters, presented in the Poster session, should be 90 x 120cm

Proposal submission

Submission of proposals for presentation, including the abstracts, is possible only through the official conference web site using the registration form

Abstract of oral presentation/poster has to be submitted only by first author or by presenting coauthor. Other coauthors do not have to submit the abstract, only register.

The organizers of symposia have to submit not only the symposium’s abstract, but the abstracts of every single paper within it. Authors of papers within symposium DO NOT submit their abstracts on their own, but only register.

The organizers of round tables have to submit only abstract of the round table, while its participants have to register only.
